Bruce Springsteen was the 2013 MusiCares Person of the Year, and accordingly, there was an incredible tribute concert for him. Jon Stewart hosted the benefit, and here are the musical performances that went down: Neil Young covered “Born in the U.S.A.,” Elton John played “Streets of Philadelphia,” Tom Morello and Jim James teamed up on “The Ghost of Tom Joad,” Mumford & Sons took on “I’m on Fire,” Patti Smith did “Because the Night,” John Legend did a piano-driven version of “Dancing in the Dark,” Alabama Shakes covered “Adam Raised a Cain,” Zac Brown Band and Mavis Staples went with “My City of Ruins,” then The Boss himself took the stage with the E Street Band for “Thunder Road” and “Born to Run” before everybody joined in for the grand finale.
