Bono and U2 have topped GQ’s ‘least influential figures of 2014’ list. Referencing Apple’s gift of the band’s Songs of Innocence album to half a billion iTunes subscribers in September, the magazine writes, “Yes, $100 million to turn U2’s socially conscious dad-rock into a piece of direct mail.” Ouch.
