Last March, we went to the Calgary Outdoor Adventure Show and visited a booth on Revelstoke.
We ended up coming home that day and booking a trip to the B.C. mountain playground.
Just got back from a five-night trip full of biking, hiking, swimming and conquering the ropes course at SkyTrek Adventure Park.
One of the top rated Revelstoke restaurants on TripAdvisor is The Village Idiot Bar and Grill – a pub that’s family friendly and has amazing food – we had everything from sliders to shrimp stir-fry to perogies to the giant chicken sandwich called “HOW TO LOSE A CHICK IN TEN BITES GARLIC PESTO CHICKEN CLUB.”
If you sit at the bar, all the stools are made from discarded skis. But the best “decoration” was tucked away in another corner – a Calgary Flames jersey. After a LONG day of biking, it was great to have a hot shower and then a fantastic meal.
Have you ever seen any “Calgary” while on vacation? A Flames flag? Stampeders jersey? Something from Stampede? – Sarah
