No pressure, Calgary teachers, but this teacher from Chicago decided to forego the “Welcome Back To School” newsletter and make a music video instead.
“I just kind of wanted to spice up the old-fashioned newsletter, so I thought, ‘Man, I’m kind of good at music, I know how to put lyrics together well. Let’s go ahead and put a song that will get the kids excited,’” he told ABC News.
How do your kids find out the name of their teachers?
When I was growing up, class lists would be posted at our school a few days before school started. My son has also had an assembly on the first day of school where kids are called up one-by-one to meet their new teacher. – Sarah
