If you have a child, odds are you have at least one Elf On the Shelf.
If you’ve been living in the South Pole and haven’t heard of this phenomenon, basically the gist is this: An Elf pops down to your house from the North Pole and watches the children so he can report back to Santa. At night time, the elf moves around the house to get different vantage points and the kids have to find him.
There’s no touching though – if the kids touch the elf, his magic dies. (Read its whole lovely Christmas history here.)
This weekend, I found a new take on Elf On the Shelf – Team Elves. We bought our son a Toronto Maple Leafs fella at Pro Hockey Life in CrossIron Mills. My son named him George.
