The NHL is going to China.
Well, at least the LA Kings and the Vancouver Canucks are going to China.
The NHL announced yesterday that “the preseason games between the Kings and Canucks will be played on Sept. 21 at Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai and on Sept. 23 at Huaxi LIVE Wukesong’s Le Sports Center in Beijing.”

The Kings just beat the Flames on Wednesday night 4-1, with former Calgary captain Jarome Iginla getting a Gordie Howe hat trick. The LA victory meant the Flames are still looking to clinch a playoff spot.
