Stage West presents: Tuesdays with Morrie
A constant on The New York Times Bestseller List for more than ten years with more than eight million copies sold and an Emmy-winning television film presented by Oprah Winfrey, TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE is the autobiographical story of Mitch Albom, an accomplished journalist driven solely by his career, and Morrie Schwartz, his former college professor.
Sixteen years after graduation, Mitch happens to catch Morrie's appearance on a television news program and learns that his old professor is battling Lou Gehrig's Disease. Mitch is reunited with Morrie and what starts as a simple visit turns into a weekly pilgrimage and a last class in the meaning of life.

Save The Animals Music Fest
Oops-a-Dazy Animal Rescue and Sanctuary present Save The Animals Music Fest featuring Netty Mac, Fast Moving Mountains, Kyle Nelson Live, BlackSnake Moan and hypnotist, Trevor Dahl. All proceeds from this event will go to the Shilo Legacy Fund to help animals get the care that they deserve so that they can go on to live a long and happy life filled with love. Doors open at 3pm and will stay open until midnight. Tickets are only $15 in advance and can be purchased from ticketmaster. More information is available by calling 403-612-3011.

MADD - Quarry Park & Polish 2010
Come down to Quarry Park with your exotic, classic, tuner, truck or hot-rod and support MADD Calgary. Don't have any of the above? No problem, simply come check out the show. Admission is free. Everyday across Canada 4 people are killed and 200 injured as a result of impaired driving crashes.
MADD’s mission is to stop impaired driving and to support victims of this violent crime.
MADD volunteers work with the Calgary Police Service in their CheckStop program. We prepare and hand out information material to educate drivers of the risk of drinking and driving. We also do SmartGrad presentations at high schools as well as during safety week at large corporations. We host MADD event tables at various functions and hand out awareness material to educate people on the dangers of drinking and driving.
