Terry's Bio:

Terry was born and raised in Montréal QC.
His interest in radio is something he can’t ever recall not having.
As an 8 year old he would secretly, and quietly, listen to his radio long after the rest of the house had gone to bed. The music, the voices, the possibilities - every aspect of it fascinated him.

There wasn’t much he wasn’t willing to do to make radio his livelihood including moving to Churchill Manitoba … in the winter.

After a stint there with CBC Radio he went “south” to Winnipeg’s CITI FM and got his first taste of The West.

He took a brief break from radio in the early 80’s to manage Canadian acts like Streetheart, the Queen City Kids and Kick Axe, a job that gave him the opportunity to see more of the country and develop a true love of The Prairies which has never waned.

In 1984 CHOM FM, the station he grew up listening to, needed a morning man so he went back home to begin what would become a 23 year run in Montreal morning radio.

Every summer Terry would get in his car and drive across the country stopping to see friends in Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta and BC… then he FLEW home. He has traveled a fair bit of the globe but is always pulled back to Western Canada.

Leaving Montreal was no easy decision but the prospect of calling Calgary his home made it an irresistible opportunity.

Terry is an avid reader, thrives on current events and political news, still buys records and reads all the liners notes, is a huge hockey fan, loves movies and sharing big laughs, great food and fine wine with good friends.

He is excited to be at Q107 and to call Calgary “home”.

*** Patti wrote this for me and thinks I should change it so that I am not talking about myself in the third person. But I don’t like talking about myself. So I think this will do, no? Ok, then, all the best.
