A Cochrane man, who killed five people when he plowed into the back of their car with his cement truck is appealing for more freedom.
Daniel Tschetter was behind the wheel of the truck in December 2007 when it slammed into a vehicle stopped at a red light.
Sisters Kiarra and Alexia Gautreau, along with their father Christopher, died in the crash.
Christopher's girlfriend Melaina Hovdebo also lost her life. Sixteen-month-old Zachary Morrison was also killed.
Tschetter is applying for both day and full parole. The hearing is set for September.
