A 9-1-1 dispatcher is being recognized today for walking a Calgary father through the preparations for child birth, when he called to say his wife wouldn't make it to the hospital. Karen McKechnie got the call Monday afternoon. She sent an ambulance and then gave the instructions but the baby beat the ambulance, arriving just 6 minutes after the 9-1-1 call. McKechnie got to meet Olivia Lawryn Stuart-Neish today, along with her very grateful parents.
