Airdrie RCMP is looking into the death of a 10 month old boy.
Police and paramedics were called to a home yesterday afternoon, when the mother found the boy unresponsive after a nap.
The child was transported to hospital, however, was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
An autopsy is being done to determine the cause of death.
Officials say the family is cooperating with the investigation, and are very distraught.
