The Trans-Canada Highway 2 km west of Banff has re-opened. The highway was closed from late Friday afternoon to around 1:30 Saturday morning. A mudslide that dumped half a metre of mud and debris over the surface just past the Norquay turnoff. RCMP also closed the Park gates until the slide had been cleared. They have also reopened on both sides of the Park.
