Officials are being cautious, but it's expected prairie farmers could see above average crops when the harvest is complete. Statistics Canada is scheduled to release its updated estimates on crop later today. Some are suggesting it could be a bumper crop on prairies. The Canadian Wheat Board says production of the six major grains and oilseeds could yield 51-point-6 million tonnes this year -- about four million tonnes better than the five-year average.
